Omg. For the LAST time... Grades 100% matter for MOST PNMs. Are you an average girl? Meaning, are you a girl who's not too well connected, not too pretty, not too well adversed in other criteria that makes a PNM desirable? If so, then your high school grades will make or break you. That being said, if you're an average PNM (you know you're average if you don't have actives from multiple different houses following you) then anything below a 3.4/3.5 will hurt you. However, girls who are top and/or very desired by a house do not have to worry about their grades. If a PNM is a NY Fashion Week model with a 1.25 GPA then a house is going to want her. Shallow? Yeah. My point: There's a general census about grades that applies to MOST PNMs. However, there's a few PNMs in which these "guidelines" don't apply because said PNMs are simply very desired.
