My roommate and I pledged the same house (tut), and we also chose to pref that house number 1 together. We knew each other before school so I knew that I would be able to handle that much time with her, and I LOVED being roommates in the same house. Everything was so much easier and our friends were the same so people were always in our room, our schedules were the same when it came to sorority commitments obviously, but I still got alone time when she was at class or somewhere else. Going out was easy, especially date parties, because we didn't have to worry about being too loud and waking the other up. I wouldn't have done it differently, but I'm sure it also would have been awesome having a roommate in a different house
