Honestly, I really don't think it's about brands and where you shop. For the most part above, people have mentioned national chains and national brands. What's different is where you wear these things. For example my friends in the north can't believe that we wear dresses to football games, and boys are in navy blue Blazers and ties. Similarly a rush it's a little more formal and by that I mean more occasions to wear a dress appropriate for meeting someone's parents. Day in day out it's a lot of T-shirts. Some new row houses get bashed for being a bit more put together to head to class For parties it's the clothes you know. Again I think girls in the south a little bit more likely to be dressed up
