The reason you are getting so many different answers is that there is no such thing as a recruitment checklist that will tell you if you meet X out of X criteria, then you will get a bid. Each sorority is different, has different needs that change from year to year, and a lot of membership criteria is private. It's like a job interview. They might advertise they want someone with 10 years' experience and hire someone with 8 because they have other things to offer. Meanwhile, someone with 12 years' experience gets passed up because they didn't click for some reason. You don't know your competition or why a company would hire you over someone else. Nothing you can do will guarantee that you will get an offer. Same with recruitment. All you can do is present the best you, and hope for the best. Just give it a try!! You are looking for concrete answers and there are none. Take a deep breath and give it a try.
