I'm already on the right track with my grades. I'll probably finish with a 3.8-4.3 GPA this semester. It's just my first semester grades that were awful that brings my overall GPA down. If they would see that I've greatly improved, I wouldn't be as worried...but sadly they don't acknowledge that. They just look at the GPA on your resume/transcript and that's it. I've heard that they also don't care that your first semester was rough or if you took hard classes. They're very unsympathetic.
