I mean you really need to consider everything before you rush. Greek life from the outside looks really fun, and it is, but it will be a completely different experience for you since you're older. I know a two year age difference isn't really that big of a deal, but I mean you need to look at it comparatively to the average time span of a college career... Being twenty and rushing is basically being a junior, age wise, and rushing, which is kind of a big difference. You sound mature, and you may find it hard to make friends with the girls in your pledge class who are similar to you in that manner. Also, the girls in your pledge class may not take easy to the age difference. I know in my pledge class we had a few sophomores and the freshmen didn't really talk to them all that much because it's just kind of weird ya know. Also the girls in my pledge class who were older would hang out with the other older actives since they were already friends. The sororities here will still want to see your grades btw. Your missionary work will look good, and if you're pretty and wealthy that will help too... Overall I don't mean to try to discourage you, but rush is a legit thing and I just want you to think about what happens after you get a bid, hypothetically saying you do.
