Why are people so petty about whether people come from old money here at Bama? All the old row houses, both sororities and fraternities, claim they only want the best members and that includes members that come from old money... Southern old money that is. But y'all don't realize that the true old money comes from the North. Like I get it, we're in Alabama and y'all want rich kids from in state, but you don't realize the fortune that there is up North. Like the "old money" term originated in the North and was long and well established before it trickled down the coast. Idk I just don't think y'all really understand the economic difference there is between the North and the South and I don't understand why y'all are so biased towards Northerners that come from actual old money...
