It helps to know the process of rushing Everyone begins by visiting each house, but these are short and sweet visits. Given how quick the visits are, even well qualified pnms can be overlooked without rec letters. Once you visit all houses - you select your favorites and the houses elect their favorites. This repeats with 12, 8, 5, and then 3 houses at pref. Despite this, not everyone gets a full card at each round There are girls who may only have one or two houses, after the FIRST cut. The most qualified pnms get full or nearly full cards meaning they have 12, 8, 5 and then 3 visits during rush. in my mind top houses are the ones with the most interesting during rush and get the pnms they want. IMHO The most selective houses with the most interest are: AXO, Phi Mu, and KKG. There are allot of houses in the "middle": KD, XO, ZTA, Pi Phi, APhi, ADP, AGD, and DDD. Out of state is competitive and selective in this group for PiPhi, ZTA and APhi. And the ones who get the least interest are GPB, Theta, DZ, AOP, DG after the first round pnms start to get houses in the top/middle, middle, bottom/middle or bottom. In general, the most preferred pnms get full cards that include better ranked houses, while others may not have full cards that tend to be lower houses. After the first round, the top and bottom houses aren't even competing for or seeing the same girls. As they say, trust the process. You will end up somewhere that you
