So I'm a junior, and I'm in a fraternity but not a big house, and my basic understanding here is that Greek life is all about who's rich from what part of Alabama and that's considered top according to rush. The only fraternities that people even think about hanging out at are on University Blvd, and that everyone is after where the rich boys are rich girls are. How is this all suppose to help you in the real world? I don't get it. One day, all of you are gonna have to get a job and earn your own money. You will not be rich and you're gonna have to work hard for your money. No one is gonna pay for you for anything (at least I hope no one will). Your parents being rich is really not gonna help you with anything. People need to humble up. Being rich and having a nice fraternity/sorority house is nice but it's not the greatest thing in life and for those who say it is I feel bad for you. This University is so caught up in money, it almost seems like that's all people care about. Lose the egos, be open to every single person and just love every single person at this school.
