The girls that are tops are really tops in the connections department. It's not girls with the highest grades or anything like that. It's the girls that have personal connections with girls in several houses. Sometimes it's more like a legacy to a couple of houses who's been to camp with girls from other houses. Sometimes it's family connections, etc. If you're from out of state, you're not a top PNM. :)
