The party scene is about average. It's nothing in comparison to what you'd find at a Big 10 or SEC school, but is more active than most other ivies and T20 schools. O-week's a good time, and there's always some sort of party every weekend. The greek system is pretty unique since there are far more active chapters than usual for a school of Cornell's size. Around 25% of undergraduates are involved in greek life. Frats typically have 60-80 active members, and all sororities have around 160. Most of your other questions will get answered throughout your first semester. Also, take everything on this site with a grain of salt. You'll find out how things are once you get to campus.
