Subject:
Ideas to improve greek life here

Poster Message:
I see a lot of negativity on this site, but I wonder if we can promote some good ideas too for the few Greeks that check this site. A while ago someone posted a joke that on April Fool's day we should have annual mixers between the top srat and the bottom frat, and the top frat and the bottom srat. For top orgs, it's a way to assert you're the top org - for bottom orgs, it's a reason not to be so scared of being the bottom. If we can make sure these events will be fun and worth looking forward to every year, like a "whatever happens on April Fool's stays on April Fool's" night of silliness and forgetting the hierarchy (maybe with special stuff to do as well), it could be a positive staple of Greek life. Make it super stigmatized to be disrespectful on this night. Show Martha and the press we're not an evil community. Another idea I liked was the alliances between srats. Picking social chairs that are close friends with other social chairs. Teaching new classes to befriend and care about the new classes of other srats. Keeping any misbehaving frats in line by having srat socials work together to boycott anybody who hurts or disrespects one srat. Another idea I could see working is pooling some money across every Greek org to host a big private event for everyone in Greek life. Something worth the hype and will make everyone excited to go. Something geeds will envy. What other ideas do you guys have?
