now THIS is exactly right and what some of the try hard tfm type boys in beta and lambda need to understand. It's all about how many people at the bar know you and want to come up and talk to you when you and your entourage walk in. Thats why the top tiers have the most in-state kids, that's why the upper middle tiers take kids from alternative areas that still send a lot of kids to USC (nova, annapolis, even ohio) and thats why the kids without connections end up in the lower frats, because all that matters is how many people you know and who you can bring around.
