If you really, really do not/cannot see yourself in that house and would not be proud to wear their letters, DO NOT sign them on your MRABA!!! Your Pi Chis will really encourage you not to SIP and there is a definitely a risk that you'll end up with nothing, but if you just don't like a house, don't do it. It's not fair to you or to the girls in that house. If you put them on your card and end up with them, you can try going to Bid Day and maybe you'll see things differently and like it, but you'll know pretty quickly if it's a fit. If you still don't feel like they're your people, DO NOT INITIATE! Again, you'll feel a lot of pressure and get caught up in things and the next thing you know, you're an initiated member and you'll never be able to be in any other sorority. I speak from experience. I ended up in a house I tried to drop the whole time and kept going against my gut/letting myself get talked into sticking it out and I was miserable and finally dropped a year later and a lot of my sisters dropped soon after. There is more to life than being Greek. Don't try to fit in where you don't.
