that DEFINITELY used to be the case (my sister said her chapter would pick up a lot of grade drops from adpi when to usc, she graduated seven years ago), but I know for a FACT that it is not the case anymore, as my chapter (same as my sister's) dropped two girls I know of for grades, that ended up in adpi last year. Ok, maybe I don't know for a fact, it could be a clerical error, etc. but it's pretty obvious that adpi here doesn't care about the things they apparently used to care about and now will just take the hottest bimbo/pageant girl/cheerleader etc. (nothing against cheerleaders)
