Newsflash: every school does it this way. Or else every girl, who thinks she's the queen bee, would list the five most popular sororities, and they would all have 800 members, and the others, especially the "unpopular" (ugh) ones, would close. And that would benefit...no one. It's called RFM. It's instituted by NPC. If you have a problem, take it up with them. But I doubt they're going to change it based on the opinion of one person versus the 100,000 mostly happy girls that get placed every year. If the chapters were 25 or 40, I could see where meeting 6 people might make you feel like you don't fit in. But if you can't fit in with 400 people to choose from, the problem is you...not them. And the problem is, "I'm too good to wear these crappy letters, since I was Regina George at my small town high school and I thought I would be the same at a college with tens of thousands of people." Tough luck.
