Once upon a time, Girls were able to rush whichever chapter’s they wanted. So many of these girls wanted to feel like they were the fairest in the land and felt like the only way to be this way was by joining an “elite” chapter. But the elite chapters could only take so many girls. They would keep so many girls up until the final round, make all the girls feel wanted, so that at the end the elite chapters got to pick exactly who they wanted, leaving so many girls at the end without a home. The 26 NPC organized a meeting and determined enough was enough. There were so many girls missing out on the Greek experience because all their eggs were in one basket. So they came up with universal rules for recruitment that every chapter would abide by. These rules have allowed so many girls to enjoy the Greek experience. The End
