With accreditation results coming soon, KA recent loss of recognition fits in the larger trend of the diminishing presence of Greeks on LU campus. Their loss of recognition fits into the broader context of the LU community enforcing its standards for all Greek orgs on campus. If certain frats and sororitys can't make minimum expectations, whether by continuously facilitating alcohol abuse to the point of hospitalization, perpetuating bad behavior, or just not contributing to the greater Lehigh community, there is absolutely no reason they should exist on LU campus.
