The article states..... Gregory O’Brien, the University of Georgia student involved in a dispute between two fraternities, will not be finishing the semester as he planned. Stan Jackson, director of student affairs communications and marketing initiatives, said O’Brien, president of Tau Kappa Epsilon, has been interim suspended. “The police investigation has concluded and that information has been submitted to the student conduct office and that’s where things are being handled as it currently stands,” Jackson said. “The situation involves individual students. I do know that staff at the Greek life office have been meeting with the student leaders of our campus greek organizations to refresh and go over policies about firearms and campus regulations and that kind of thing, but the situation itself involves individual students.” O’Brien’s standing with the fraternity is in jeopardy as well. “We have been partnering with university officials on their investigation of this individual,” said Alex Baker, chief information officer for Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, in an email to The Red & Black. “He has moved out of the chapter house, has been suspended from Tau Kappa Epsilon, and the chapter is in the process of removing him as a member of TKE.”
