Don't worry about what other people think of a sorority you are visiting or are interested in. There is a place for everyone. They all have their own culture and you join the one that fits you best. Once your in a sorority what do you care what a person who is in another sorority or not in one thinks? They are irrelevant to your situation since you will not be hanging out with them anyway. Not getting into "old row" is not a big deal. That tag only means something to the sororities that call themselves "old row". Which is pretentious. Go with the place you feel comfortable and make your own assessment and decision.
