You need to be open to each and every house. We have an upperclassman quota so it's not impossible to get in. But you still need trust the process, take the bid that you get, and trust that the sisters who chose you see you as fitting into their house. That's honestly how it is for all PNMs, but as an upperclassman things are more competitive so it's even more important to keep that in mind. As the person above said, put in the effort to get 1-2 recs for each house. Reason being: UGA has so many PNMs that the quickest cuts are made because someone doesn't have requirements, whether these are officially disclosed or not. So the quickest cuts are made because of low GPA and because of not having rec letters for that house. You cannot afford to be cut for those reasons being that some sororities are already going to cut you for being a junior. I know it's unfair, but sororities prefer younger members because they can get more semesters of dues $ out of them. It's impersonal and it's harsh, but it's the truth. Also if it doesn’t work out for you, I promise there are a billion other things you can get involved with on campus!
