Listen closely PNMs... When trying to get a better grasp on what each sorority is truly like, we tend to fall prey to many stereotypical posts about the faults and pluses about every sorority. However, what truly makes a sorority right for you is what YOU want to get out of it. That may be a group of friends that share similarities with you, drinking buddies, a religious group, etc. Now, after looking at many posts, I have realized that people are very SUBJECTIVE...maybe because they are in a particular sorority and are bias. Maybe because they want their sorority to get a better reputation. How can these posts be accurate? You cannot really see what a sorority is actually like unless you are in it yourself....So I ask that you go into rush with a completely open mind! It is not fair to yourself or the sororities to start to rule out many before you even get a chance to learn more about them or actually get to experience what they are like. By keeping your options open, it will make your overall rush experience better. Yes I know, getting dropped is not the best feeling in the world...When you think you fit perfectly into one and then you figure out that they dropped you, it can crush you. However, do NOT rule out the chance to be in another one because every sorority at UGA is great.
