<strong>Subject:</strong><br />My consensus on each of the top frats here at TAMU<br /><br /> Poster Message:
PIKE- Biggest frat on campus, which has its pros and cons. Many times i’ll go up to a pike and ask if they know a guy in the same chapter and they wouldn’t, which I feel like defeats the whole purpose of being in a frat. Best chilifest year after year hands down. They’re guys range a LOT, most being douchebags but some are absolute sweethearts. SIG CHI- Kicked off of campus for hazing allegations, but supposedly they beat the allegations and are back? Some really nice guys once you get to know them. A select few from each PC are absolute duds in my opinion. They have the best fraternity house on campus hands down and throw some of the best darties. The only problem with this frat right now is the secrecy and the fact they have to do a lot of things behind closed doors. DELT- Not as big as PIKE and Sig Chi, which limits connections but is better for brotherhood and being close with all the brothers. Heard horror stories about their pledgeship, because they EASILY have the hardest pledgeship on campus. Apparently over the years it’s been toned down, but the guys that can make it through this pledgeship become absolute gentleman. Some of the most respectable men i’ve met come from this frat. They need to fix their financial issues so they can throw their iconic parties though. KSIG- Their lodge is absolutely amazing, some of the best parties i’ve been to have been there. Again, a really big fraternity where not everyone knows everyone, but not as bad as PIKE. Respectable guys but i’ve heard the pledgeship is super easy. Not much else I can say about them, nice guys overall and have a mix of DELT and PIKE vibes.
