It is only “easy” to get in to A&M if you attend a low performing high school. This is due to the TOP 10% RULE. It is very difficult to be in the top 10 percent at a competitive/ private high school where that cut off might be a 4.5. As opposed to some country school where a 3.7 is top 10 percent. Top ten percent rule penalizes students from competitive high schools.
