This y’all! I mean, I love my house, but honestly, I have so many friends from all over Panhellenic and we are pretty much the exact same. We all have similar personality types scattered throughout the chapters, lots of people highly involved in other orgs, etc. it makes me sad to see people come on here and bash other houses, especially newer ones or ones who have struggled in the past but are really getting it together. I don’t like to say, “Oh, XYZ is really moving up,” because that sounds like they have sucked. I think what can separate some houses from others can be their Nationals and the levels of support. At the end of the day, local chapters have to run themselves. So when a house has struggled or had a set back, it can take a minute to get it together. Prime example, ADPi. I love the ladies in this chapter. Yes, they have had to rebuild a lot and revamp things but y’all, they are killing it!! They have recruited and retained some excellent leadership and great members. They are going to continue to do well. Also, remember that what a house might have been a few years ago can change with just a pledge class or two. Just give Greek life a chance at A&M and do YOUR very best at bringing your best self to add to your chapter. Whatever you put into it, you will get out of it. To me, it’s just something extra tied in with my overall Aggie experience.
