Many sororities nationally are changing the way they look at legacies as part of equity and diversity initiatives. Some, including my sorority, stopped giving preferential treatment to legacies during rush this year. I don’t know what house you are a legacy to but the majority of houses on campus now have national policies against giving extra consideration to legacies: AXO, AOPi, DDD, DG, GPB, KD, KAT, PBP, ZTA.
