ADPi still recognizes their legacies & gives them preferential treatment. It would be a very big decision for ADPi to cut a legacy after Open House. So any of these things are possible: 1. They did not know you were a Legacy because your sister / mom / grandmother did not send in a Legacy introduction form. If this is true, you need to have them send one to the chapter as soon as rush is over with a note that you are very interested in COB opportunities. 2. You are actually not a Legacy. If your cousin, aunt, step mom, step sister, sister in law, etc is an ADPi, then you arr not considered a Legacy. In that case, they released you and you probably won’t have much luck with COB with them. Though still a chance - sometimes PNM’s get overlooked during rush who can still be a great addition through COB! 3. They definitely knew you were a Legacy and they cut you after Open House anyway. In this case, you have no chance of ever going ADPi and need to consider any other options you have for your chance to join a sorority.
