So the first commenter is half right. Recs are important because if you don’t have at least one, chapters will likely cut the girls without a rec in the first round because they have to cut ~somebody~. The only way out of this (which it’s a slim chance) would be if you score high after the chapters score the videos y’all submit and a chapter feels like they must have you. However, recs are simply just an easy cutting mechanism. I can’t speak for the other woman’s chapter, but I know we don’t read a single one we get, it’s not that deep. Most of the time the women who write y’all recommendations don’t even know you so what would be the point in reading the same info we could find on your resume? I suggest trying to get at least ONE for every chapter, 2 if you really wanna stand out. But most importantly remember to just be yourself. We’ve all been in your shoes before and it’s super hard to keep an open mind but I promise it’s the best advice anybody will give you, so don’t stress too hard about the recs thing, you’re gonna end up where you should be.
