You as a PNM do not cut houses unless by some miracle you have EVERY sorority wanting you (doesn’t really happen here). You will preference the houses you most want to go back to. The sororitys will then send list to Panhellenic of what PNMs they would like to invite back to the next round. If all the houses you preferences invite you back you will go to those houses. If some of the houses you preference do not invite you back but one of the sororitys you did not preference invited you back you will go to all of the party’s you have been invited to even if you did not preference that sorority. On preference night your rankings between the two houses you have left are more significant (this is where mutual selection comes in)
