Every group is different, but they all essentially make a list ranking everyone that came to pref from 1 to the end. If you attended pref, you are on the bid list. However, sometimes quota get filled before they get to your name on the list. If you were at pref, it is because they loved you. If you didn’t get matched it is just because there weren’t enough spaces. Membership selection is private and unique to each group. Some don’t even vote after pref. Their bid list ranking is set after sisterhood. Some use a points system where is it so regulated that individuals can’t move a person up or down in the order. Some have rules regarding legacy placement. Others do not. You didn’t get cut after pref. There were just girls ahead of you in the matching.
