Be sure your really understand the process. You can go to pref, but if you want to be eligible for COB, snaps, etc. you can not sign the form. You essentially drop out after pref. However, if you feel a connection with one or both of the groups, sign your form, get a bid and enjoy the new member time. If you decide you aren’t a good fit, you can drop out before initiation and then go through formal recruitment next year. A lot of Sophomores do recruitment at A&M. If you do sign a bid card, you will not be eligible for anything until fall of next year.
