For the most official info, see page 19 from the latest recruitment guide referring to "silence." issuu.com/tamupanhellenic/docs/2016_recruitment_guide/1?ff=true&e=18037456/37447358 Essentially, you as a senior are allowed to follow/like/chat with any sorority woman or sorority social media page until silence, which begins a week before recruitment begins. After May 1 however, you're technically not supposed to reach out and make new contact with individual sorority members, though you are very encouraged to keep up with the overall sorority's social media accounts. I honestly can't see how following sorority pages can blacklist you, unless you followed only half of the sororities and posted/said stuff like "omg I wish I were a Phi MU, they're so cool!" But that would be totally stupid. And not dirty rushing, b/c dirty rushing is something that occurs on the sorority's end. DR is like if a sorority's members contact you during Silence and try to talk to you or if they promise you a bid. Also, it's kind of weird at this school for PNMs to add actives, so just friend/follow the sorority's chapter social media accounts, and that'll alert the actives that you're interested.
