Knowing actives can be helpful, but the important connections are ones you already have (i.e., older girls from cheer, dance, church, camp, NCL, etc who you've known for years), not fleeting ones from dirty rush events. Hopefully you've already kept in touch with any actives you do know! My summer advice is to be really "on" at Fish Camp as many counselors are sorority women and a lot of rush crushes come out of Fish Camp. Don't stress- lots of girls, even in top houses, started rush week with little to no "connections" and ended up with bids.
