Sororities: Tier 1: Kappa and Tri Delt - the most sought after during rush. Widely considered top houses. Recently it's been said that they're going downhill but I don't think they've gone down enough to be knocked out of top tier. Tier 2: Zeta DG and Chi O- all extremely good sororities, but they desperately want to be considered top house when none of them are. Tier 3: Pi Phi Theta and Alpha Chi - all very solid. Pi Phi and Theta get left out of the equation just because they don't have as much of a social presence but are both great sororities. Alpha Chi catches too much flack for being wild and not enough credit for how good they are. Tier 4: KD Gamma Phi DZ and ADPi - all decent groups of girls that are making strong improvements but just don't really compete as well with the rest. Fraternities: Tier 1: Fiji and KA - top houses. Have been going downhill pretty sharply but still maintain top tier status and likely will for a while yet. Tier 2: SAE and Sig Ep - both extremely good fraternities. Both want to be top house when they're not, SAE probably a bit more desperately than Sig Ep. Tier 3: Delt and Beta - both very good, but are the point of a lot of argument because they both really want to be better than the other in order to claim the #5 spot. IMO Delt is better than Beta but a lot of people disagree. Tier 4: Sigma Chi and Pike - both are solid. Sigma Chi has struggled reputationally but is actually a pretty good fraternity. Pike is newer on the scene but rising
