"Most sororities no longer recognize legacies, so don't count on being a legacy to help you." That may be true in one of the bottom feeders. The more sought after Sororities still do recognize legacies. It does not mean a basket case legacy gets in but it is as big as any other factor in becoming part of the sorority.
