Religious talk can be uncomfortable for a lot of people no matter what their religion. We are having casual conversations with people we don't know in recruitment. It's RUDE to talk about anything that can make someone else feel uncomfortable. It's not controversial, it's just manners. There will be plenty of time to talk about faith later.
