Subject:
Dear PNMs & anyone else concerned about TCU Greeks

Poster Message:
(This is in response to a now deleted Discussion post from a PNM who stated that she was having concerns and second guessing her plans to attend TCU or going through Recruitment, specifically because of the bad behavior of a few individuals that has been posted about on greekrank recently.) .......There are people that come on Greekrank with the purpose of exploiting situations in the hopes that making another house look bad will somehow elevate their own. Don't paint an entire group, community or population of people, with the moral stain of one individual. Isn't that what racism and any kind of bigotry is?? It is judging an entire group by the actions of one or a few of the groups members. We all stand or fall on the strength of our own moral choices. And as far as assuming that a group endorses a certain behavior, please remember that we don't know what is going on behind closed doors and what the internal process is to deal with negative situations, so I'd like to encourage you to stay at TCU and go through recruitment. Our world is cluttered with sin and our aim, especially at a "Christian" University, should be to help each other to be better, knowing that when I'm the one, or you are the one, who is found to have a moral failing, that my sorority sisters and my TCU community will hold me accountable in a way that is effective, but also doesn't leave me completely stripped of any remaining dignity. TCU isn't perfect, but no place is. However, there is much more good here than not.
