I would say that regional stuff did have an impact on my recruitment process, but of course other factors can change things (grades, test scores, presentation, communication skills)...you’ll end up where you’re meant to be, but in the end— if a house cuts you, why would you want to be there anyways? Being cut for things beyond your control is definitely frustrating but also shows the true character of the house beyond the “recruitment act”; because believe me, they all start to sound the same. Following recruitment is when people’s true colors come out, so make sure you choose the place you feel like the girls won’t just turn on you the day after bid day! Hope this helps, best of luck!
