This seems to makes sense, but I know people in the top 3 at SMU, & they (the actives) choose their new members. There is a house w very aggressive alumna ( same here at TCU) but it doesn’t serve that particular sorority very well. I think it’s more that the actives at SMU are just more in sync (& of like mind) with their advisers / alumna, than at other schools. Not that the alums are dictating anything. At SMU, there’s just a closer bond between the actives & alums of certain houses. It’s j tradition
