Rush is in August before school starts, unlike SMU which has deferred recruitment, so there is no pre-rushing for a semester like at SMU. PNM's come to campus and move into their dorms early. But the process is the same, just like at any school that does NPC recruitment - RFM is used and cuts are made and if you have connections to a sorority it helps. I think girls don't feel so entitled here like at SMU so they don't drop out in droves when it doesn't go exactly their way. Just like at any school, if you went through rush once then you have a little experience and are maybe better at it the second time around, but rush never works well for anyone if they only want certain houses or none at all. You have to keep an open mind at any school to get the most out of rush and being in Greek life. But you should really pick your school to get an education, not to join a certain sorority.
