Hi there! so my sister went to SMU so I feel like I have a decent amount of insight. So a big thing to note is that SMU is a spring recruitment school. There are pros and cons to this. This means you arent introduced to greek life until later, but SMU does allow girls to talk to active members in the spring and go to parties. Some schools dont allow this and this is nice because you can kind of actually get to know the personalities of the chapters before recruitment. Another difference is TCU has more chapters than SMU. SMU has less undergrads than TCU too, but generally speaking, TCU I think is a little better about making sure more girls end up in a sorority at the end. So if your goal is to just get into one, TCU is probably the choice. But just because you are in one doesnt always mean you love it or if it is the right fit for you. Most of the time it works out, but not always. I think that can happen at SMU as well so finding the fit is probably equal. The personalities are different of people at SMU so obviously it is more important to figure out what school you fit best in.
