Joining a lower tier sororities has its social limitations, but gives you the opportunity to help them grow. A lot of girls slip through the cracks at top tier houses and end up dropping recruitment all together rather than joining a less exclusive house and meeting other people in the same shoes and making the chapter "cooler". Give it a chance and you might be surprised at the people you meet at the house that gives you a bid.
