It's all about numbers. There are over 300 actives currently in each sorority. Each one of those actives have at least one girl they desperately want. There will be around 170 bids given out. That means that 130 of our close friends will not get bids. To complicate the math even more, the alumni advisors have their ideal girls that the actives may not have ever met, or chapter legacies we have never met who they are pushing through. As actives we can encourage our friends to vote for you, but in the end we don't control the order of the lists. The rush team and advisors do.
