I would stay away from free people and urban. Urban outfitters is definitely too casual for skit night and pref. You might could find something pretty and lacy from FP that would work. Stay away from anything too short and too casual. You will be sitting in a chair and an active will be sitting at your feeling talking to you. You don't want her to be able to see up your short dress. But at the same time, find something you feel comfortable in. You don't have to buy a printed Lilly dress. I didn't. I found something cute from Jcrew and my other dress was from a cute boutique.
