And I want to say this - it is hard work joining an already established chapter as well. The sisterhood and history may already all be there, but you won't feel that sisterhood if you don't work for it. You have to get involved! Go to all of the events and meetings and eat as many meals at the house as you possibly can! Get to know all the girls you haven't met yet, in your pledge class and in the classes above you, and in the classes below you when you get older. This has been said a million times, but I'll say it again. You get out what you put in. So whether you end up in one of the 10 sororities already on campus, or in Alpha Phi, or not in the greek community at all, put in effort to really get involved. Work to make your chapter better than it was when you joined. And if you aren't greek, join other clubs or organizations and make them even better than when you joined them! Good luck to all of the PNMs going through in a few months! I wish y'all the best of luck and I know that y'all will all end up where you're supposed to! HAVE FUN!!!
