We were allowed to connect on social media prior to June 1st. So the girls you know who are friends with actives on social media were probably connected prior to classes letting out for the summer. The rules have really relaxed in recent years. A few years ago actives were not allowed to talk to pnm's at all prior to rush. It was super awkward. Some sororities follow these rules strictly. Other sororities tell their actives that dirty rushing is okay, but if they are caught, they have to pay the fines out of their own pockets. We will all try to get away with things we aren't supposed to.
