As the OP I want to make a small clarification: I never meant to imply anyone from the North or South is better than the other! I was simply stating that's more difficult for a northerner to get into the more southern sororities. Not that they are discriminated against, but that they aren't given as much attention as the southern girls. Basically, if you're going through rush and you're from the north, don't be surprised if you only get asked back to sororities in the second or third category. It doesn't mean you'll be in a worse sorority!
