We do not view sororities based on who is more "southern" Keep make excuses all you want, but this is just not a "thing". Top tier houses get the best girls from all over the nation, not just southern states! Get real! They do not discriminate based on which side of the Mason-Dixon Line you are coming from! They do discriminate based on zip code depending of how wealthy your zip code is. Somebody from up north coming from a wealthy zip code will not be pushed aside based on where she is coming from. If she is beautiful, and well spoken, and comes from a good family, private school, and has all the other criteria we are looking for, she is considered. Where northern girls go wrong is that they are unfamiliar with our rush policies and procedures. This puts them at a disadvantage.
