Sororities have 400-500 girls in them and Ole Miss is almost 50% OOS. Sororities are filled with OOS girls. ALL OF THEM!! Top, middle, bottom... they all have in-state and OOS girls. So girls from OOS, don't be discouraged. You can get a bid just as easily as girls from MS. You both need connections, good grades, involvement, recs, and a good personality! There are a lot of reasons why a house would drop you, zip code is not one of them. A house won't be like "OMG, this girl is awesome! Has connections, a great rec letter, and a pretty good GPA! I think she'll be perfect for our chapter...! Oh wait...she's from Colorado (i just picked a state, it doesn't matter)? Oh well that's a shame... Drop!" Go into rush with your head high!
