Theta girls are really sweet and they are really diverse, which is awesome! Theta was not for me during rush, but I know a lot of Thetas who love love LOVE their sisters and house!! Do what you want to do! If you LOVE Theta during rush, go with Theta. If you end up loving an other house, don't think about your mom. Your mom will not be the one spending 4 years with these girls, you should love them! You don't want to remember your sorority as "the house I joined because of my mom". Do what makes you happy because that's all that matters!
